With Glamorous Camping there’s no reason to rough it when you go camping at Paris Landing. Our Luxury Weather Proof Canvas tents are furnished with luxury beds and the finest linens and bedding. The furniture is a chic blend of antique, vintage, and comfortable furnishings you will adore.
Relax on your front porch and enjoy the local soft drink Ale 8 One, or maybe a beer from Paris Kentucky’s own Rooster Brewery. Perhaps you’d prefer to relax in one of the comfortable hammocks on the grounds and simply enjoy the beauty of Stoner Creek.
Presenting Central Kentucky’s finest, these luxurious accommodations are known as The Thoroughbred, The Bourbon, The Stoner Creek and The Heron – each reflecting aspects of the area.
Our outdoor bath and shower facilities are so beautiful, so romantic and so unique, that the bathing experience alone will be reason to visit Pairs Landing. Private, but open air, you can bathe under the stars or let the day’s sun dry you as you relax on the lounge after your shower.
Spend your days kayaking along Stoner Creek or try some fishing – the bass and crappie fishing are excellent. There are charcoal grills on the grounds where you may prepare your catch. We can also arrange a fishing guide to assist novices and to show you were the honey holes are.
As you canoe or kayak up the creek you will pass some of the most beautiful Thoroughbred farms in the world. You will see Claiborne Farm which was home to Secretariat, Riva Ridge, FourtyNiner, Seabiscuit, Ruffian, Forego, Swale, Unbridled, Easygoer, Bold Ruler, Omaha and many other Champions. Perhaps you will spot a deer drinking from the creek or the majestic flight of the herons that make Stoner Creek their home, and inspired our logo.
At night relax around the camp fire, and roast some s’mores. We can arrange to have a guitar player lead campfire songs – reminiscent of the camping experiences from your childhood. Perhaps you would prefer a story teller? We will be glad to arrange a local story teller, who will delight you with stories either entertaining or scary.
Maybe you would like to have an Astronomer teach you about the stars on a beautiful night on the creek? We’ve got you covered there too.
It wouldn’t be a proper glamping experience without a great night’s sleep in the world’s finest bed. Our glamping tents feature king-size Stearns & Foster Reserve Collections mattresses, delivering exceptional comfort, adaptability, and support unlike anything else.
The Reserve Collection is more than just the top-of-the-line Stearns & Foster, it’s the ultimate mattress. The Stearns & Foster brand was founded in 1846 and is part of the family of brands from Tempur Sealy International, Inc, headquartered in nearby Lexington.
Our hosts will be glad to arrange tours to the beautiful horse farms that surround Paris Landing, or suggest galleries, and shops you’ll want to be sure to visit in beautiful downtown Paris.
